We offer multiple service options to make the inspection process easily accessible to a variety of different customers.

Contract Services

RailPod’s contract services can be quickly deployed on any level crossing. When an inspection is due, a trained RailPod technician will operate the vehicle. The customer will receive real time exception reports on the track as well as remotely via the RailPod data portal.

Flexible contract terms allow the customer to choose a solution that meets their specific needs. Regardless if the inspection is weekly, monthly, or annually, all data is available 24/7 for detailed analysis, run-on-run assessments, and historical reporting. Our operations staff will work with each customer to maximize the time on the right-of-way while remaining clear of revenue operations.

Owner Operated Services

The RailPod system is designed to be operated by almost any track worker with limited training. In relatively short training sessions, the owner-operator will be able to quickly and safely operate the RailPod technology. With 24/7 “shadow” operations, RailPod staff will be monitoring all movements of the RailPod system and ensuring continuity of inspection data providing the highest level of service in the industry. RailPod operations staff will also provide the customer with recommended service and maintenance actions based on use in order to minimize down-time and failures in the field.

As an owner-operator, take advantage of the flexibility of scheduling the use of the RailPod system at any time. Maximize your inspection frequency at a reduced per mile equivalent cost when compared to contract services.

As an owner, take advantage of the web based software updates without having to pay for dedicated engineering services or costly vehicle software upgrades. Add software features as needed.
